Customer Project
PROJECT
For decades, Kaschwig has been developing customised noise protection solutions for industrial applications. The company combines extensive technical expertise, many years of experience and an excellent reputation among demanding industrial customers. As the company grew, however, a new question emerged: how should Kaschwig position itself in international competition in the future? While almost all competitors defined themselves through technical specifications, sound insulation values and engineering solutions, Kaschwig wanted to build a brand that makes the true value of its work visible – for customers, employees and the company itself.cal product, but as a vital contribution to health, workplace well-being, productivity, and operational performance.
CHALLENGE
The analysis showed that noise protection was perceived in the market almost exclusively as a technical product. Engineering solutions, materials and decibel ratings dominated the communication, while the actual value for companies remained largely invisible. Kaschwig, however, has a much broader ambition. The company does not develop noise protection for its own sake. Its goal is to create working environments in which people can concentrate better, stay healthier and enable companies to perform more successfully over the long term. The aim was therefore not to create a new advertising message, but to establish a strategic foundation that makes this ambition clear and provides direction for the future development of the brand.
STRATEGIC INSIGHT
Interviews and workshops revealed that Kaschwig does not simply produce noise protection solutions. Kaschwig protects people. Noise affects health, concentration, communication and workplace safety. Effective noise protection therefore creates far more than quieter production environments. It enables workplaces in which people can remain healthy, focused and productive over the long term. This insight led to the guiding idea SILENCE WORKS. It describes not only the technical effectiveness of the solutions, but also their true value for companies. Noise protection is thus transformed from a technical product into a strategic tool for health, productivity and employer attractiveness.
For the first time, this perspective gave the brand a shared direction and made clear the social and economic contribution Kaschwig actually makes.
SOLUTION
UNICORN translated the strategic positioning into a holistic brand and leadership system. This created a brand that places the human value of its solutions at the centre while making the company’s technical expertise clearly visible.
This included:
- Strategic positioning
- Development of the guiding idea SILENCE WORKS
- Definition of vision, mission and Brand Compass
- Development of the brand architecture
- Corporate design
- Communication system
- International brand implementation
The result is a brand that no longer explains noise protection solely in technical terms, but makes its significance for people and companies clear and tangible.
IMPACT
SILENCE WORKS was not developed as an advertising slogan, but as a shared understanding of what the company stands for. Today, the brand provides clear orientation around why Kaschwig exists and the value the company creates for its customers. At the same time, it forms the foundation for communication, design and the company’s future development. A technically driven provider has evolved into a brand with a clear point of view and a distinctive position in international competition. Today, the communication no longer focuses exclusively on noise protection, but on better working conditions, health and sustainable performance. This makes it clear that Kaschwig does more than develop enclosures – it creates the conditions in which people can work more safely, stay healthier and perform more successfully.

Why Corporate Values Almost Never Change Behaviour.
Almost every company has them. Values such as trust, respect, responsibility or innovation. They appear on websites, hang in entrance areas or form part of every corporate presentation. Yet they rarely change the way people behave. ...
BRAND IS NOT A MARKETING TOOL. IT IS A LEADERSHIP TOOL.
Almost every company eventually asks itself the same question: How can we become better? Companies want to grow, enter new business areas, operate more efficiently or respond to changing markets. The desire for change is understandable. Yet this is often exactly where the real problem begins. ...
The Most Important Strategic Question Is One Few Companies Ask.
Many mid-sized companies have excellent products, committed employees and decades of experience. Yet there is often a sense that more should be possible. Not because they lack expertise. But because the energy within the organisation is not moving in the same direction. ...
